He professed a hope in Christ and became a member of Old Haysland MB Church where he was an usher, read the announcements and community news and moved with the congregation to New Haysland MB Church. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Maggie Eddins Murphy, and brother, William (June) Curtis Eddins. He leaves to cherish his memory six children, Lynda Eddins Croom, Vanessa Eddins Hayes, Dennis Eddins, Brett Henderson and Dirk Henderson, all of Fayetteville, and Sharon Eddins Sanders of Cleveland, Ohio; 13 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; 6 great great grandchildren; 5 step grandchildren; brother in law, Holman Murphy of Delaware, Ohio; devoted aunt, Annie (Polly) Simpson Stone; uncles, Robert Simpson of Louisville, Ky., and Holman Eddins of Nashville; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
