Women's Development Facilitator, Coach & Therapist

Early in life I wanted to know why, seeking to understand how we and the universe work. This, coupled with an early desire to help others, led to my initial working life in the medical profession (Nuclear Medicine). These themes of inquiry and service have remained in my ‘work’ in some form ever since.

A third theme was initiated later when exploring the ‘naked voice’ with Chloe Goodchild in 1998. This opened me up to my own creative potential - especially through writing, poetry, sound, voice and sacred performance.

My first career eventually led to more questions - especially on the mind/body/emotions and the soul/sprit connection. So to pursue understanding, I began an enquiry which has lasted over 20 years, and still continues today: starting with alternative therapies and healing, and developing with the exploration of numerous teachings, development trainings and spiritual paths - particularly in the shamanic traditions. Nowadays, I have a somewhat eclectic mix of practices, and tend not to have too many specific beliefs or hold doctrines as ‘truths’ (having realised the more you think you know, the more you realise you actually know very little). However, having said that…

I do believe we all have, and can access, our own answers. No one else can make our journeys or truly give us the solutions we need/seek. However there are times when dialogue, guidance and witnessing from another can support and catalyse our process. So my aim is to facilitate those wishing to be/live their potential to be the best for the world. We are all creative and we all bring a unique presence to this world by our gifts, talents, experience and individual wisdom. My passion is to help unlock our awareness and understanding of our creative and unique sparks in the world. I am especially drawn to work with the empowerment of the feminine ‘voice’ and presence, as well as a remembering of ways that embraced life lived in harmony with each other, the Earth and the numinous.

Who am I, why am I here, what is my purpose?

So, having lived through many adventures, travels and moves in and out of England, living in several countries - in Asia, then France, Scotland, and now Wales. I spend my time these days: offering women’s development through workplace programs such as Springboard, and my own I and 3 day women’s personal workshops/retreats and pursuing my vision of wise women’s circles blossoming all around the UK.

* As a coach, trainer and consultant (through my co-created company ‘Sages and Wise Women’) with organisations and business.

* Offering 1-2-1 personal development and therapy, occasional voice workshops, and hosting regular ‘singing fields’ in Wales, (as ‘Soundweaver’)

* Enjoying poetry, writing, and being in the Welsh countryside with my partner, artist Howard Steed - and currently writing a book - phew!!!

Last thought

Humanity stands at a point of significant change in the world. Part of this change will need the global balancing of the masculine by the feminine. When this happens within and without, we can hopefully learn to live on this Earth in a sustainable and fulfilling way, through our co-creativity and our balanced dreaming, living and being.

Women’s Development

 "When women get together with the intent of creating a listening and honouring space, alchemy occurs . I simply help in the forming of the container and space, whilst adding a few ingredients to assist in the transformative process."

Having worked with women in and out of the workplace for many years, Jules increasingly felt that there was a need for women to gather and have time to really focus on themselves, their lives and their dreams.

Combining her knowledge and skills from business coaching and training, with her wisdom and expertise from years of work, study and practice in personal development, healing, therapies, women’s shamanic practice, sacred sound, voice work and creativity, she has produced various forms for women to enjoy their development, enquiry and growth.
